About Us

Queensmead is an 11-18 co-educational comprehensive school and technology college with High Performing Specialist Status. We pride ourselves, on treating your child as an individual and making sure he or she is safe and happy throughout their school career. As our status suggests Queensmead is a forward looking and dynamic community with impressive facilities. We are committed to both individual and collective success.

Our highly qualified and dedicated staff, excellent facilities and commitment to providing equal access to a wide range of educational and cultural experiences combine to create a climate in which all students are able to discover and develop their full potential. The high expectations we have for our students and our school are set within a caring and supportive framework, based on high standards of work, behaviour and respect for individual.

Our students are here to learn, but education at Queensmead is not limited to the statutory delivery of the National Curriculum. It includes a wide range of extracurricular activities and a busy sports programme, which provides a range of exciting opportunities to help students explore and develop their learning beyond the classroom.
